Banff Tips

13. It´s me, in english!

Inside the fridge is an egg that doesn?t want to end up scrambled or sun sided or as a part of an omelet. From his eighteen former fellows, just three remain. All of them, too dumb to realize the danger, take no interest in the escape plans this egg has proposed.

However, the egg has made his decision. He will escape from the fingers when they take him from the fridge. He has observed that everything starts with the fingers. They are the guilty ones. The fingers left the door of the fridge open. That was how he had seen those same fingers execute his mates in horrific ways - dropped into a pot of boiling water or shells smashed and innards thrown into a frying pan sizzling with fat. That was not going to happen to him. Oh, no, not him. He would jump. He would escape from the fingers, regardless of what happened then. Anything was preferable to death in a boiling pot or a frying pan, or worse, as he had heard, inside the belly of a fat man who has swallowed him alive.

When his turn comes, as he has carefully planned, the egg slips from the fingers and falls. Even for an egg, a fall is so quick, he has time only to wonder, ?What will I???
